Adopt-A-Precinct

The Adopt-A-Precinct (AAP) program is a community partnership that has been very successful in Orange County since its inception in 1998. The concept of this program is to allow community groups a new way to serve and to raise funds for their worthy causes. Participating in the Adopt-A-Precinct program is also a great team building experience for your organization.

This program benefits everyone involved by bringing qualified individuals to the polling place to assist voters on Election Day. As to payment for these hours volunteered, one check is prepared for your non-profit organization equal to the amount that would have been paid to each individual poll worker. The money earned can then be redirected back into our community by your organization through social and community programs.
